An evening flight from Hong Kong to Shanghai, then a fast train to Wu Xi, city of 6 million and home to a very grand 80m tall buddha.
What are we teaching - Day 1 starts with an "Entry Exam" - it's a chance for the trainees to show us their stuff! For the next ten years as Directors apply the current laws, they have greater opportunities than ever before to let bridge be played. So it makes sense we think to start our course with focusing on the Principles and the thinking behind the laws, so Day 1 is very much about introductions and setting the tone for the whole course.
And of course we need to eat!
